Mark Tortorici

Mark Tortorici is the Training and Sourcing Manager at netPolarity, a full-service staffing provider in all categories including Engineering, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Administration. He has been providing expert-level training for sourcers and recruiters since 1997, focusing on high technology computer concepts, advanced active/passive sourcing techniques, and full life-cycle recruiting process. Mark has put together and delivered robust training programs for companies like Google, Apple, Facebook, and Ebay.

Mark has trained thousands of staffing professionals in person through one-day advanced sourcing classes as well as month-long training courses for individuals with no experience who were looking to break into the staffing world. Mark also brought his training expertise to Google, where he taught hundreds of sourcers and recruiters onsite throughout the company’s global staffing organization.

The most successful graduates of Mark’s training are continuously in high demand because of their outstanding performance. By providing easy explanations of computer science technology combined with passive sourcing skills, Mark has been able to train a higher-caliber version of the technical staffing professional. Even the most seasoned staffing professionals find value in this training, with some of them going on to become the highest-rated performers in their companies.

Over the years, people who have taken Mark’s training have become Staffing Managers, Sourcing Leads, and Senior Technical Recruiters bringing in high-quality talent to companies like Google, Yahoo, Ebay, Apple, LinkedIn, NetApp, VMware, and Facebook.

Mark has been a speaker at events like HRCA and the Recruiting Roadshow. He enjoys playing music (piano, bass, singing, guitar and a little drums), as well as listening to music. If he’s not doing that, then you can find him enjoying fantasy/sci-fi movies, surreal art, novels, or composing the perfect search string.
